Title: Tip for 64-bit users Post by: mojo on July 03, 2011, 02:16:21 pm If you have a 64-bit OS you'll notice the command prompt stays open with the client and closing it will close the game client. This annoyed me because it took space on the task bar so here's a quick fix (probably a better way to do it though).
Right click the "3. Run 64bit.bat" file and click "Edit", you will see this: Code: @echo off title Client "C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\bin\java" -Xmx500m Gui 30 0 lowmem members 32 exit Delete that and replace with: Code: @echo off title Client ECHO (You may now close this window) "C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\bin\javaw.exe" -Xmx512m Gui 30 0 lowmem members 32 exit Now save it and close. Re-load your client if it is already open. Not much of a change really, but now when you close the cmd the client will stay open. Enjoy P.S. This should fix the 'Windows cannot find javaw' error too! Spamming is when you post multiple messages with no meaning. For instance in a topic on someone's pk vid, if I were to post "Dog" that would be spamming. That was just a simple mistype.N01s |
